Deepening Electricity Trading on the Energy Exchange and the Entry of 3,800 MW of New Thermal Power Plant Capacity

Tehran — IRNA — The deputy for electricity and energy of the Minister of Energy, warning about the negative consequences of the gap between mandated prices and the full cost of production for the continuation of investment in this industry, announced the entry of 3,800 megawatts of new power plant capacity next year, led by industrial self-suppliers.
