According to KhabarOnline, Abdolnaser Hemmati, quoting the government's information portal and referring to the president's emphasis on supplying medicine currency, said: In the past seven months of the year 1405, we have supplied nearly 3 billion and 300 million dollars of foreign exchange for medicine, which has increased by 28 percent compared with the same period last year.
He said that this year's conditions differ greatly from last year's and that, despite these differences, the amount of foreign exchange supplied for medicine has increased, pointed to the rial support for medicine producers, and stated: In addition to supplying foreign exchange, we have also placed considerable rial resources, especially for the production of medicine, at the disposal of the major producers in this field.
Hemmati, saying that at present the medicine problem seems to be mostly related to the logistics issue, stressed: In terms of supplying foreign exchange and rial resources, there has been no limitation at the Central Bank, and we have made every effort so that medicine is abundantly available to the people.
