The head of the Statistical Center of Iran announced the pivotal role of educational staff and students in the census process and in promoting the statistical literacy of society.
Young Journalists Club; Narges Emamjomeh- The signing of the cooperation memorandum between the Ministry of Education and the Statistical Center of Iran was held in the presence of the Deputy of Planning and Resource Development of the Ministry of Education.
Goudarzi, president of the Statistical Center, at this ceremony, while appreciating the active role of the Ministry of Education in the Census Headquarters, said: Due to its extensive network and influence among all strata, the Ministry of Education plays a pioneering role in transmitting statistical concepts and carrying out census processes.
Emphasizing the importance of education, he added: We believe that for success in producing statistics, the social capital and statistical knowledge of society must be increased. In this regard, teachers who become closely involved with the statistics production process and students who become familiar with the science of statistics through olympiads and specialized activities are the driving engine of this great movement.
The head of the Statistical Center stated: The Statistical Center announces its readiness to hold mission-oriented and training courses for teachers so that they can play their role in guiding students and facilitating the census process. Our goal is to become an institution that, relying on precise data, smooths the path of decision-making in the country.
