He added: The simultaneous increase in costs related to the municipality, social security, the Engineering System Organization and tax affairs raises the finished price of construction and makes it harder to secure the financial resources needed to carry out projects.
The head of the Construction Builders' Trade Association, referring to the growth in the price of materials, stated: The increased cost of procuring construction items, including stone, plaster and tiles, has placed more financial pressure on builders and in some cases has delayed the procurement of materials needed by projects.
Valiei considered easing administrative processes and the cooperation of responsible bodies as solutions to help those active in this field, and said: The municipality, the Social Security Organization, the Engineering System Organization and service-providing bodies can, by reducing obstacles and easing related processes, provide more suitable conditions for carrying out construction projects.
Continuing, referring to the increased inclination of some Tehran residents to live in Karaj, he emphasized the need to pay attention to housing market conditions and to provide a suitable platform for investment in the construction sector.
