According to ILNA's reporter, retirees of the Social Security Organization in various cities of the country, by gathering and expressing their demands, called for urgent attention by the government and the Organization to a set of their legal and welfare rights.

In their protests, these retirees emphasized the necessity of implementing the law, implementing Article 54 and removing supplementary insurance. They also considered increasing pensions and benefits based on the inflation rate and the real costs of living among their main priorities.

In addition, the independence of the Social Security Organization and the payment of the government's debts to this organization, the removal of Article 89 and the implementation of Article 69 for all the Organization's retirees, and the amendment of the third-year rulings of the pension equalization are among the other main axes of this group's demands.

These retirees, emphasizing that their demands concern legal rights and guaranteeing a welfare life in the current economic conditions, called for a swift response by officials to this issue.
