According to ILNA, quoting the government information base, the text of the message of Alireza Kazemi, the Minister of Education, on the occasion of Passive Defense Week of the year 1405, is as follows:
“O you who have believed, be patient and persevere and stand firm in defense, and be mindful of Allah, so that you may succeed.”
October 30 (the eighth of Aban) recalls the wise foresight of the Martyred Imam (may his secret be sanctified) in founding the Passive Defense Organization, and is an opportunity to reread the national responsibility in safeguarding the assets and achievements of the country. This year, this occasion has been accompanied by a living experience of the importance of readiness and national solidarity in confronting threats.
The difficult experience of the year 1404 showed that Iranian society, relying on faith, knowledge and responsibility, can in the hardest conditions as well continue the path of service. In this midst, the school, as one of the most important social infrastructures, not only must be resilient in the face of threats, but must also remain the center of calm, hope and the continuation of learning for the future generation.
With attention to this year's slogan, “People-Centered Passive Defense, Sustainable Iran,” we believe that the sustainable security of the country will not be realized without the conscious participation of the people and the raising of a vigilant generation. Just as the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow endure) has emphasized effective role-playing in various social and educational arenas, the school also has the mission to transfer the concepts of readiness and resilience, not on the basis of fear, but on the axis of awareness, insight and trust in national capability, to the students.
In this path, the Ministry of Education has the duty, by focusing on raising media literacy, strengthening the power of information analysis, and protecting educational infrastructures, to empower students and families for confronting new threats (including hybrid and cognitive wars). Passive defense in education is, beyond a program, part of the culture of national readiness; a school that can, in difficult conditions, preserve social cohesion and the continuation of education, will itself be one of the pillars of “Sustainable Iran.”
While honoring the memory of the martyrs defending security and service, I invite all the educators, managers, students and esteemed families to expand the culture of immunization and resilience of society by strengthening unity and responsibility. Relying on God and indigenous capability, we will continue with power the path of the progress and exaltation of Islamic Iran.
