According to ILNA, based on a report by the Israeli news site Yedioth Ahronoth, according to FBI investigations, 'Ian Brinksman,' 42, a CIA contractor, is accused of having accessed classified documents outside the scope of his duties over the past months and providing their contents to his romantic partner, 'Aida Chavez' (a journalist and founder of the 'Capital and Empire' media outlet).

Based on this report, the case investigators, by monitoring more than 800 calls between these two, announced that the reports published by Chavez were prepared just a few days or a few hours after Brinksman left the secure intelligence rooms. Of the journalist's five controversial reports in total, three documents relate directly to the developments of Iran and the Zionist regime:

According to Yedioth Ahronoth's report, the first report concerned the request to assassinate Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, published on May 28, in the midst of the Iran-US negotiations. In this report, published in the final days of the negotiations leading to the agreement on the Islamabad memorandum of understanding, Chavez, citing confidential documents, reported that Zionist officials had asked the Trump administration to assassinate Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the main figure of the Tehran-Washington negotiations. Tel Aviv had also demanded a halt to the talks and a renewed bombing of Iran's oil infrastructure in the hope of creating a revolt and the fall of the system. The FBI has announced that Brinksman had accessed the document two days before the publication of this report.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth news site, the second disclosure, on July 29, was devoted to the Zionist regime's attempt to integrate its military and intelligence structures with the US so that Washington's support would remain guaranteed even after the end of Trump's presidency.

Based on this report, an important document was also published on October 5, in cooperation with the 'Drop Site News' media outlet, concerning a confidential CIA assessment called 'Fracture from Within,' in which it warned that political crises, the attrition of long wars, social rifts and the problem of Haredi military conscription might push the Zionist regime, on the eve of the October 27 elections, toward severe internal conflict, urban warfare or institutional collapse.

In addition to these three reports, Chavez published two other regional reports: one on March 11 about Bahrain's use of Jordanian forces to suppress popular protests, and another on May 13 about the dispute among America's Arab allies (the insistence of the UAE and Bahrain on continuing the attacks on Iran versus the preference of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait for returning to the negotiating table).

According to Yedioth Ahronoth's report, the US Department of Justice has deemed this act a 'serious breach of security trust,' and Brinksman faces the charge of illegally transferring defense information (with a punishment of up to 10 years in prison); Aida Chavez has not been charged with any crime so far, and Brinksman's charges are still at the trial stage.
