Ghahremanpour, in a debate with Yousef Azizi, said: I saw that I think one of the officials said that we made a mistake by not going toward building a weapon. We are now looking at the past and now we do not know what will happen in the future. On this I agree with you, but all of politics and economics revolves around cost and benefit. That is, this cost-benefit must be done, as to what cost we are going to pay.
He added: I say that under conditions where the country is in wartime conditions and is under sanctions, until we exit this situation, probably, with medium-to-high probability, the cost of becoming nuclear will be very high for us, assuming we have the capability, which I do not know. Because we all know by now that in any case they hit our infrastructure. Its cost is high because if you build a nuclear weapon, Russia, China, India and the European Union will turn against you. I say that for now no consensus has formed against Iran; for now it is the United States and Israel. Now if Europe also supports, it is behind the scenes.
