After resting in the first round today, Danial defeated Dalén of Sweden 10-0 in the second round. In the next round, he overcame Amantur Ismailov of Kyrgyzstan 9-0 and advanced to the semifinals.

In the semifinal stage, Danial Sohrabi prevailed 9-0 in a roller-coaster bout against Mingiyan Goriaev of Russia and reached the final match.
