According to Mehr News Agency, based on recorded statistics, over the five days of the 43rd Tehran International Short Film Festival at the Mellat Cinema Complex, a total of 34,880 audience members attended the festival's screenings. The average daily attendance at this edition was 6,976 audience members.
Examining the daily statistics shows that audience attendance had an increasing trend from the first day to the last day of the festival.
Day one: 6,040 audience members, day two: 6,920 audience members, day three: 7,250 audience members, day four: 7,270 audience members, day five: 7,400 audience members attended the festival's screenings.
Accordingly, audience attendance on the last day grew by 22.5 percent compared to the first day.
In examining audience reception of the fiction packages, Fiction Package 11, with 2,150 audience members, claimed the title of the festival's most-watched package. After that, Fiction Packages 5 and 7 ranked second and third, respectively, in audience reception.
