According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting News Agency, Ilam Center; “Naghmeh Mohammadnejad,” a 14-year-old girl from Ilam, in the 25th International Environmental Painting Competition of Japan with the theme “Let Us Listen to the Voice of the Earth,” succeeded in taking the first prize of the international section for herself. This competition was held with the presence of 9,907 works from 72 countries of the world.

“Alireza Aghaei,” an artist and presenter from Ilam, by the decree of Marzieh Boroumand, was appointed as the executive manager of the International Festival of Children and Youth Theater.

The street play “Bijan and Manijeh,” of the productions of the Ilam Art Center, at the seventh nationwide festival of street theater “Tabrizim” gained several prizes and was introduced to the Fajr International Theater Festival. Zahra Cheraghi gained the first rank of women's acting, Maryam Abdi the second rank of directing, Aman Absalan and Ebrahim Ebrahimi the special music prize, and Saeid Kheirollahi the second rank of scheme and idea.

“Ahmad Noormohammadi,” a filmmaker from Ilam, for writing the adapted screenplay “Unfinished,” at the 43rd International Festival of Tehran Short Film was nominated to receive the best screenplay prize and was placed among the six final nominees of this section.

The play “Koucheh Mahrokh” from Dehloran also succeeded in gaining several prizes at the seventh nationwide festival of street theater “Tabrizim.” Malek Absalan gained the first rank of men's acting and the joint third rank of directing, and Mostafa Kolivandi reached the joint third rank of the scheme and idea section. This play was introduced for presence at the Resistance Street Theater Festival.

The visual unit of the Ilam Art Center extended the deadline of sending works to the “First Frame” talent-identification competition until October 30. This competition is held in the axes of editing, videography, narration, artificial intelligence and content production, and the chosen ones will have the opportunity of cooperation in the visual projects of the province's Art Center.
