According to “Varzesh3”, Roman Danilov, former player of Russia's national volleyball team, is these days active in a different discipline and seriously pursues fitness training; training that is said to take three and a half hours of his time daily.

Danilov, the 208-centimeter-tall opposite spiker of Russian volleyball, has experienced winning the World Junior Championship and has also played for Russia's senior national team. Together with his hometown team, Belogorie, he also won the Champions League and the European Cup.

After retiring from volleyball at the age of 40, this player experienced an unexpected change of course and turned to beach bodybuilding. His current goal is to become one of Russia's best in this discipline and, further, to use his practical experience to work as a fitness coach.
