According to IRIB News Agency, citing the Ministry of Economy, the report on government debts and claims at the end of the year 1404 has been prepared by the Public Debt Management and Government Financial Relations Center of the General Treasury of the Country, in implementation of Paragraph "b" of Article (1) of the Law on Removing Obstacles to Competitive Production and Improving the Country's Financial System and its executive regulations, as well as the executive directive under Article (68) of the executive rules for the country's whole year 1405 budget law.

This report, aimed at being submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly alongside the country's whole year 1406 budget bill, was sent to the President at the end of the current month of Mehr signed by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance.

From the month of Aban 1394 to the end of Mehr 1405, in line with carrying out legal duties and promoting transparency of financial information and reports of the government and the public sector, 54 comprehensive reports on debts and claims of the government and state-owned companies have been prepared and submitted to the relevant legal authorities. This collection includes 43 quarterly reports of the government and state-owned companies and 11 annual government reports, which were prepared in cooperation with the provincial General Directorates of Economic Affairs and Finance.

The report on government debts and claims at the end of the year 1404 is the third annual report prepared under the 14th government in implementation of the mentioned legal mandate. The information in this report was collected based on data received from more than 5,000 reporting points on the Debt Management and Money and Capital Market Securities System (Samadno).

According to this report, from the time the relevant system became operational in the year 1395 until the end of Mehr 1405, more than 264,000 electronic quarterly and annual reports on debts and claims have been received from national and provincial executive bodies across the country. This information, conforming to the accounting system and financial balance sheets of the bodies, served as the basis for preparing reports related to the government set and state-owned companies.
