Photo: The Last Dolphin HuntersMatthew Abbott, a documentary photographer, in his project 'The Last Dolphin Hunters', narrates the life of the residents of Fanalei Island in the Solomon Islands; people who for generations have used dolphin hunting to provide food and income. Now, rising sea levels and the island's erosion threaten the life and future of this community, and seaweed farming, as a new way of earning income, has challenged the age-old hunting tradition. This collection is a visual narrative of people caught between cultural heritage, climate change and the struggle for survival.
