Pezeshkian Congratulates Kazakhstan on Its National Day

According to Mehr News Agency, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a message to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, congratulated him, the government and the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the arrival of the country's National Day.

In this message, referring to the positive and stable trend of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan over past years, Pezeshkian stated: The relations between the two countries have always been based on friendship, mutual respect and trust.

Stressing the historical, cultural and civilizational commonalities of the two countries, the President added: These commonalities, alongside the shared will of the leaders of Iran and Kazakhstan, have provided suitable grounds for developing and deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Referring to the position of Iran and Kazakhstan as two important and influential countries in the region, he also noted: The two countries have shared capacities and responsibilities for strengthening regional peace, stability and security.

The President expressed hope that by drawing on the existing capacities and through the planning and efforts of the officials of both countries, we will in the near future witness an ever greater expansion of cooperation and the consolidation of friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the end of this message, Pezeshkian asked Almighty God for the health, success, welfare and prosperity of the President and people of Kazakhstan.
