Tasnim: The Paydari Front has demanded withdrawal from the NPT and the rearrangement of Iran's defense doctrine.

The text of this statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
وََلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا
And Allah will never grant the disbelievers a way over the believers. (Surah An-Nisa, Verse 141)

The experience of recent years, and especially the two recent imposed wars, proved that although the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) is built upon a mutual balance between "commitment to non-proliferation" and "guaranteeing the rights and security of members," the international structures based on this treaty have fallen into complete obsolescence, causing structural discrimination and inefficiency in securing the minimum legal rights of the noble nation of Iran within this treaty.

The bare minimum right of the Iranian nation from membership in this treaty was that its peaceful nuclear activities in sites whose status was clear to the Agency should be supported, and their bombardment should have met with a reaction from the Agency. However, the Agency was not even content with silence and practically played the role of a catalyst for attacks against Iran, and is currently continuing this same role.

Furthermore, in terms of international law, this treaty fundamentally faces serious challenges regarding legal and executive equality. The division of states into "nuclear-weapon states" and "non-nuclear-weapon states," while the privileges and obligations of these two categories are completely unbalanced, has caused the efficiency of this treaty to be subjected to serious doubt both from a functional critique and a legal perspective.

At the present time, given the experience of years of cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency based on the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the harmfulness of NPT membership for the Iranian nation has become completely evident. At critical junctures, this treaty has not only failed to safeguard the rights of the Iranian nation, but has also turned into a tool for further pressure against our country. From this perspective, reviewing the level of cooperation with the IAEA and withdrawing from the NPT should not be viewed merely as an emotional or temporary reaction; rather, it should be considered and implemented as a serious strategic option to redefine Iran's relations with international structures. Because continued presence in such a structure requires a clear and convincing response, which practically does not exist after the occurrence of two wars and witnessing the Agency's performance.

If it was once claimed that this treaty is based on a fundamental balance between non-proliferation against the right of peaceful use and the protection of members against aggression, today this balance has collapsed, and continued membership in it is not only not security-inducing, but also opens the door wider for the enemy's malice.

Therefore, considering the explicit principle of Article 10 of the NPT—which states that each member has the right to withdraw from it if events related to the subject matter of the treaty jeopardize its supreme national interests—today, with the persistence of existential threats, overt aggressions against the country's soil and facilities, and the absolute inefficiency of international guarantees, Iran's supreme interests and national security are in serious jeopardy, presenting a clear example of tyrannical behavior and the lack of necessity for Iran to continue its association with the Agency.

Naturally, Iran's move to withdraw from the NPT will be accompanied by the propaganda reactions of the West and its domestic agents, certain political pressures, and possibly new sanctions; but these costs will be less compared to the situation currently imposed on the nation. Conversely, the benefits of withdrawing from the NPT—such as ending unilateral monitoring, espionage, and pretexts for aggression on the one hand, and rebuilding deterrence, protecting facilities and scientists, and complete independence in matters of nuclear energy utilization on the other hand—will tip the scales heavily in favor of the noble nation of Iran.

The Islamic Revolution Paydari Front, after a thorough review of this issue in various meetings of the political committee and presenting its report which was approved by the central council, declares: Since the security, authority, and dignity of the resistant nation of Iran is the non-negotiable red line of the Islamic Republic's system, the honorable representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the esteemed members of the country's Supreme National Security Council are expected to set in motion the legal and executive process for the complete withdrawal of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the NPT and the suspension of all extra-treaty cooperation, alongside the rearrangement of Iran's defense and military doctrine, in the shortest possible time.
