According to Varzesh3, Taheri minutes ago scored with a spectacular header into the Mes Shahr-e Babak goal for the second time, to become the best young goalscorer in Iranian football.

At present, Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh, Tractor's striker, and Erfan Shahriari, Malavan's winger, with 5 goals, are at the top of the scorers' table, above Kasra, Ali Alipour, Yaser Asani and Milad Sourgi.

Kasra Taheri has the chance, in the remainder of the match against bottom-placed Shahr-e Babak, to increase his scoring tally and catch up with Amirhossein and Erfan.

His first goal came with a clever shot from inside the penalty area in the first half, and his second goal with a soft header on Omid Noorafkan's pass, and minutes later he was also looking to win a penalty, in which he was unsuccessful.

The scoring record of 20-year-old Taheri is better than that of his same-age rivals such as Saeid Saharkhizan and Pouria Shahrabadi, and his further brilliance will give hope to Iranian football enthusiasts.
