According to ILNA, Akbar Abdollahi-Asl said: Under the relevant rules, once the 24-month legal deadline for settling the status of existing products has passed, the activity of pharmacies under these conditions has no legal standing; therefore, the distribution of medicines in these pharmacies must be managed in proportion to the remaining period.
According to IFDANA, he added: Distribution of products in six-month intervals is subject to inventory checks, registration records and an inquiry into the pharmacy's status in the TTAC system by the food and drug deputy of the relevant university. Distribution companies must also set supply ceilings based on the pharmacy's actual records and within the framework of the permitted deadlines.
The Director General of Pharmaceuticals stressed: In the final six months of the legal deadline, the distribution of health-oriented products to these pharmacies will be halted completely.
