Abbas Gheisouri, in an interview with a Mehr reporter, stated: At present, 1,536 people are working in the nursing, operating room and anesthesia fields in this university's hospitals and provide the necessary services to patients.
Referring to the national standards, he stated: To reach the standard nurse-to-hospital-bed ratio, providing another 682 personnel in this field is necessary, because the shortage of staff imposes double pressure on the existing personnel and can affect the quality of services.
This official, emphasizing the improvement of service quality, noted: The recruitment of 180 nursing aides has also been placed on the agenda to strengthen the treatment staff and improve service delivery to patients, so that the process of caring for patients is carried out with greater speed and precision.
Gheisouri, in conclusion, referring to the follow-ups carried out, said: We are trying, by recruiting new personnel and removing the shortages, to provide better conditions for the treatment staff so that they can perform their duties with greater peace of mind and we witness an improvement in the level of health in the province.
