A member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly's Development Commission, emphasizing the development of the tourism infrastructure of northern Iran, said: The tourism capacities of the northern provinces should be identified.
Gholamreza Shariati Andarani, on the sidelines of the first gathering of the intellectuals of northern Iran, in a conversation with KhabarOnline, while thanking the organizers of this conference, stated: I am very happy that today fate helped me to be present in the gathering of the elites of the Alborz-dwelling provinces, including the provinces of Semnan, Golestan, Mazandaran and Gilan.
He added: The northern provinces have many commonalities; both culturally and geographically, and also in terms of the resources they have at their disposal. These commonalities can complement each other for the development and progress of these four provinces. In the future, they will also add another province to this gathering, which is in line with completing this valuable project.
The representative of the people of eastern Mazandaran in the parliament stated: There are common aspects in terms of culture and natural resources in these four northern provinces of Iran. If we can know each other's human and natural facilities and capacities well and blend and combine them, it will certainly be very effective for the development and progress of these provinces.
He emphasized: The climate of these four provinces requires that the representatives of these provinces hold meetings with each other. At present, we have the faction of the representatives of the north of the country, and we must also add Semnan Province to this faction. Given the natural geography of this region, we need to approve a series of special regulations for the Alborz-dwelling provinces. Of course, this requires that the representatives and governors of these four provinces hold meetings together so as to identify the existing legal gaps.
Shariati stated: We, the representatives of the parliament, have the duty to pursue these gaps and, with mutual cooperation, develop these capacities. Our duty in the Islamic Consultative Assembly is to strive for the strengthening, progress and development of these four provinces. Certainly, if the secretariat of this assembly provides a platform, we, the representatives of these provinces, can be of help and facilitate the region's progress. In the Assembly of the Representatives of the Northern Provinces of the country, we will certainly help in this path.
