According to Abadan IRIB News Agency, a group of schools' students in Khorramshahr, attending the city's martyrs' cemetery, honored the memory of student martyrs and renewed their covenant with their ideals and values.

During the ceremony, by washing and perfuming the holy tombs of the martyrs, the students paid respect to the lofty status of the martyrs and kept alive the memory of those students who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland.

Performing a play focusing on the life, sacrifice, and devotion of student martyrs was another program of this ceremony, held with the aim of acquainting the teenage generation more with the role and status of student martyrs and transferring the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom to future generations.

The organizers of this ceremony tried to provide the ground for students to become more familiar with the bravery and devotion of their martyred peers through cultural and artistic programs and to remind the present generation of the importance of honoring the memory of the martyrs.

This ceremony was held in cooperation with the Student Basij, the Department of Education, the Foundation of Martyrs, and the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Khorramshahr.
