Kerman Martyred Journalists School Campaign Reaches the Governorate

With the Kerman governor joining the campaign to build the nine-classroom Shohadaye Khabarnegar (Martyred Journalists) girls' elementary school and paying two 14,000-toman shares, the chain of support for building a school awaited by the future-makers of this city grew wider; a campaign that wants to prove that to build tomorrow, we do not need to be rich; it is enough to set aside a share, however small, for the children's big dream.

With the governor of Kerman joining the campaign to build the nine-classroom Shohadaye Khabarnegar girls' elementary school and paying two shares of 14,000 tomans, the chain of support for building a school awaited by the future-makers of this city grew wider; a campaign that wants to prove that to build tomorrow, we do not need to be rich; it is enough to set aside a share, however small, for the children's big dream.

Young Journalists Club; Maryam Sadat Bahador The future sometimes begins where it is least seen; from 14,000 tomans, from a small decision, and from a hand that rises to build. Perhaps this amount is negligible in our daily accounts, but when the classroom and the children's future are at stake, this same small share can be part of a great event.

In Kerman, the campaign to build the nine-classroom Shohadaye Khabarnegar girls' elementary school has taken shape with this very belief; that school-building should not be the concern only of the government and large benefactors, and every citizen, in proportion to their ability, can have a share in building the future.

Now Habibollah Khenjari, the governor of Kerman County, by registering on the "Behsaz Madrese" system and paying two shares of 14,000 tomans, has joined this campaign; a step whose main message goes beyond the amount paid: for change, we do not need to have a large share; we must pay our own share.

28,000 Tomans; Small in the Account, Big in Meaning

28,000 tomans alone neither raises a wall nor builds a classroom; but when thousands of small shares are placed side by side, they can provide part of the cost of building the school and smooth the path to reaching the goal.

The power of this campaign is in this very gathering together; in a city deciding not merely to watch the future of its children. One pays one share, another a few shares, and still another person helps more in proportion to their ability. Here the contest is not over the amount; the issue is the share each person can have in building an educational opportunity.

The joining of the Kerman governor can also be an invitation to managers, guilds, economic activists, benefactors and the people; an invitation for this movement to go beyond a media call and become a chain of real participation.

The Shohadaye Khabarnegar School campaign began from a media demand; attention to the educational need of an area in Kerman that faces a shortage of educational space.

On October 17, 2026, the groundbreaking of this girls' elementary school was held on Shahid Seyed Hassan Nasrallah Boulevard, known as Hajjaj Boulevard. A nine-classroom school designed on a plot of land of 1,200 square meters with an infrastructure area of 863 square meters, to provide, for elementary-level girl students, a suitable space for learning and building the future.

But groundbreaking is not the end of the road; it is the beginning of a path that must reach the inauguration through securing resources, precise implementation and continuous follow-up. The dream of a school becomes real when its classrooms are ready and the students sit behind the desks in it.

The governor's accompaniment of this campaign will have the most effect when it is also tied to practical support of the project, removing implementation obstacles and following up on securing resources. People's participation can be a valuable backing, but it is not a substitute for the government's responsibility in developing educational space.

On the other hand, people's trust is preserved with transparency. Announcing the amount of donations collected, the manner of spending the resources and continuously reporting the progress of the construction is as important as the invitation to pay public shares. A citizen who pays a share for building a school has the right to know how their donation leads to the progress of the project.

What Is Our Share of the Future?

Now it is the turn of the people, managers, guilds and benefactors to join this chain. Each to the extent of their ability; without the smallness of the amount becoming an obstacle to participation.

Those interested can, through the "Behsaz Madrese" system at the address below, participate in building the nine-classroom Shohadaye Khabarnegar girls' elementary school:

Perhaps years later, a girl in one of the classrooms of this school will open her book and dream a big dream in her head; without knowing how many people, with small shares, provided the ground for her learning. But the value of this accompaniment is exactly here: building a future whose fruit goes beyond those who pay today.

14,000 tomans may be small in our pockets, but indifference toward the educational needs of children has a far greater cost. Let us not wait for another to build the school; let us take our own share and become partners in building tomorrow. The Shohadaye Khabarnegar School does not only need bricks and cement; it needs people who believe that the future is everyone's share.
