The group known as the Paydari Front, by issuing a statement addressed to Majlis representatives and the Supreme National Security Council, demanded Iran's withdrawal from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
According to KhabarOnline, the Jomhouri Eslami newspaper wrote: This political group, acknowledging the consequences of Iran's withdrawal from the “NPT,” has stated that although withdrawal from this treaty may be accompanied by political pressure and fresh Western sanctions, benefits such as ending one-sided inspections, preventing espionage and pretext-making for aggression, strengthening deterrence, protecting nuclear facilities and scientists, and independence in exploiting nuclear energy will outweigh its potential costs.
Social media users, reacting to this demand of the Paydari Front, said it must become clear once and for all what goal or goals lie behind this war-mongering and whose interests, in what part of the world, are to be served by restarting the war. Unfortunately, these people have made the interests, benefits and existence of a country with 90 million population a plaything of their political games and superstitious views, and are driving the country toward annihilation and the people toward disaster.
