According to "Varzesh 3", the first round of the Japanese Men's Volleyball Premier League concluded with two matches for each team, and Hiroshima, featuring Amin Esmaeilnezhad and Mobin Nasri, was defeated in both matches against Matsumoto Thunders.
Given the previous records of both Hiroshima and Matsumoto Thunders, it was expected that Hiroshima, relying on its two Iranian stars, would win both matches, but this did not happen, and the Japanese team experienced a disappointing start.
Meanwhile, the performance of Hiroshima's Iranian players was not as brilliant as expected. In the second match, Amin Esmaeilnezhad was replaced by the Cuban player from the third set onwards, and Mobin Nasri also failed to record brilliant statistics.
Now, to compensate for these defeats, Hiroshima must face Tokyo Great Bears next week; a team that features Bartosz Kurek, the Polish star of world volleyball.
