According to "Varzesh3", the draw ceremony for the 21st edition of the Asian Women’s Handball Championship 2026 was held today (Sunday, October 25) and Iran’s national handball team was placed in Group A of these competitions together with the teams of Japan, China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh.

Among Iran’s rivals in this tough group, Japan counts as the champion of the previous Asian edition, and the Chinese national team also won third place at the Nagoya Asian Games a few weeks ago.

The full grouping of the 21st edition of the Asian Women’s Handball Championship 2026 is as follows:

Group A: Iran - Japan - China - Hong Kong - Bangladesh

Group B: South Korea – Kazakhstan - Uzbekistan - India - Australia - IHF TROPHY winner

It is worth noting that the 21st edition of the Asian Women’s Handball Championship will be held from November 23 to December 3, 2026, hosted by Almaty, Kazakhstan.
