According to ILNA, Qasem Ravanbakhsh, in today's (Sunday, October 25, 2026) open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said in an oral remark addressed to the Presiding Board of Parliament: Impeachment motions against 7 to 8 ministers are currently on the table in Parliament, but none of these impeachments is being placed on the agenda.
Emphasizing the need to oversee the performance of the ministers, he added: In this regard, it is better for the opinion of the Parliament floor to be sounded out, so that it becomes clear which minister's impeachment should take priority for examination; because it is not possible to impeach all the ministers at the same time, and this could cause problems for the cabinet.
The representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: It is better, under the current circumstances, for the impeachment of one or two ministers to be placed on the agenda, which would be a positive action.
