According to KhabarOnline, the open sessions of the Islamic Consultative Assembly have once again been accompanied by a change in the manner of holding, while Abbas Goudarzi, the spokesperson of the Presiding Board of Parliament, had announced yesterday the holding of the open session on Sunday, October 25, in a hybrid format; a format based on which a number of representatives from each commission attend the permanent location of the floor, and the other representatives participate in the session via webinar. However, today we are witnessing the open session being held on the floor of Parliament; a session that was held with the presence of the representatives at the location of Parliament and chaired by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
Goudarzi had earlier, pointing to the new decision on how the open sessions are held, said that this change was adopted following a resolution of the Presiding Board of Parliament and based on the recent enactment of the Supreme National Security Council. According to the spokesperson of the Presiding Board, in this model, part of the representatives were to attend the floor and the other members participate in the session via webinar connection.
