According to the Mehr reporter, Mostafa Bazri, director general of Standards of South Khorasan, announced on Sunday afternoon in a conversation with reporters the holding of the World Standards Day 1405 conference in the province with the presence of Farzaneh Ansari, Vice President and head of the National Standards Organization of Iran.
He stated: This conference will be held with the presence of the governor of South Khorasan, a group of provincial and county officials, members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and industry activists.
The director general of Standards of South Khorasan, referring to the importance of promoting the culture of standards in society, said: The World Standards Day conference is an opportunity to explain the role of standards in raising the quality of products and services, supporting domestic production, increasing consumer confidence and strengthening the competitiveness of production units.
Bazri added: This conference will be held with cultural and specialized programs, the screening of a clip of the performance of the South Khorasan Standards Directorate General, and speeches by representatives of the industry and production sector and the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
The director general of Standards of South Khorasan, referring to the importance of the participation of production units in developing the culture of standards, said: In this ceremony, exemplary units will be honored, so that while introducing the capacities and achievements of the activists of this field, the necessary motivation for observing the standards requirements and continuously improving quality in production units is strengthened.
Bazri also, regarding the programs of the visit of the Vice President and head of the National Standards Organization of Iran to South Khorasan, stated: Attending the provincial Standards Council, participating in the World Standards Day conference, visiting the laboratories of the Standards Directorate General and inaugurating the sensitive analysis laboratory, visiting the Kavir Tire production unit and an intimate meeting with the employees of the Directorate General are among the planned programs of this visit.
He, emphasizing the necessity of interaction between executive bodies and the production sector in the field of standards development, added: The development and promotion of standards requires continuous cooperation and interaction among executive bodies, the industry and production sector and other stakeholders.
The director general of Standards of South Khorasan emphasized: This directorate general, in the direction of raising the quality of products and services, protecting consumer rights and supporting standard production, pursues its programs with the aim of expanding the culture of standards and improving quality in the province.
