According to ILNA, quoting the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, by a decree signed by Jalal Tajik, the director general of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, and in the presence of the governor of Semnan County, Jafar Safakhah was introduced as the head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Administration of Semnan County.
Jafar Safakhah holds a master's degree in geography and tourism planning and is a graduate of the Faculty of Cultural Heritage at the bachelor's level in the field of museum studies, and among his executive records one can mention 11 years of activity as the deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of Semnan Province, the responsible expert of cultural affairs and communications, and the person responsible for the museums of the General Administration of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province.
It is worth noting that before this, Faramarz Nasiri was the acting head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Administration of Semnan County, and appreciation was made for his efforts at the time of holding this responsibility.
