The First Vice President said: Despite the problems arising from sanctions and the economic war, our hands are not tied and we are strongly hopeful about the future.
- A review of the proposed provisions for the resources of the 1405 budget was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, with the presence of senior economic managers of the government.
In this meeting, Aref stressed: "The enemy has set in motion an all-out economic war to impose its will on the Iranian nation, which we are confident will definitely fail and will achieve none of the goals it has designed to bring the Iranian nation to its knees."
The government strives to create new opportunities out of the heart of threats
The First Vice President, referring to the country's problems arising from sanctions and the economic war, said: "This crime of the enemies has created problems that we know full well, but the government will devote all its effort not only to defeating the enemy, but also to creating new opportunities out of the heart of threats."
He continued: "We do not believe it is an easy task. Basically, war is a hard task, whether military or economic. It was not our choice either; they were the ones who attacked in the middle of negotiations, and these conditions have been imposed on our nation."
Aref added: "But our hands are not tied, and we are strongly hopeful about the future, and in all fields we have innovative methods whose final result we regard as the victory of the Iranian nation."
The revenues of the 1405 budget must be spent on the people's livelihoods and the country's development
The First Vice President stressed the need to operationalize the solutions for realizing the revenues envisaged in the 1405 budget and said: "The solutions for realizing the revenues envisaged in the 1405 budget, including modern solutions, must be made operational so that these revenues are spent on the people's livelihoods and the country's development."
He added: "The President has also repeatedly stressed that despite all the problems, the government must attend to the people's livelihoods, especially the low-income groups."
At this meeting, held with the presence of the Minister of Economy, the Governor of the Central Bank, the head of the Plan and Budget Organization, the secretary of the cabinet and senior managers of the Ministries of Roads and Urban Development, Industry, Mine and Trade, and Petroleum, the proposed provisions of the 1405 budget were reviewed, discussed and concluded with the aim of realizing the revenues envisaged in the current year's budget of the whole country.
