According to "Varzesh3" Maziar Zare head coach of Malavan , attended the press conference after the game against Paykan and, regarding earning the draw against this team, said: I think this game had nothing special. It was a one-point game that the two teams earned, and nothing more. One shot hit our crossbar and we had one or two half-chances, and that is it. I think the rest had no technical value, rather than us talking a lot about this game and wasting everyone's time.

Asked whether his players had been affected by the controversies of the Tractor game, he replied: "If we want to say it was because of that — this is football; no, not at all, not at all."

Zare also explained about Erfan Shahriari's scoring and his presence among the Premier League's top scorers: "I am very happy; just for Erfan. In my view he reached Malavan with a great deal of hard work and is now reaping the reward of his efforts. He trains very well, lives very well and professionally, and I think he has much more room than this. I hope he continues his upward trend just like this."

Regarding what he said to his players after the chances they wasted, Malavan's head coach explained: Whatever I might say, I speak with the players and tell them whatever is needed, but in that scene where we conceded, I really think it was one of the most basic goals we could have conceded. They scored very simply and reached their goal anyway, but what is clear is that I am not at all satisfied with the way the lads played football today; not in any way. Of course, that team, given the sending-off they had, had made things difficult. They had kept many players back and, anyway, finding a gap among all that crowding they had was very hard. They also tried very hard. We knew their points situation was such that they needed this single point, but anyway, reaching their goal was hard.

He went on to say: "Unfortunately, the quality of the stadium pitch is not as usual either, and it makes playing football a bit hard. Now, it is not that I am satisfied because of the result we got; even though, with all these conditions, we still took a single point, and with the points we had dropped in the past few games, maybe anyone would be satisfied, but I am not satisfied in any way. We should have taken the three points."

Zare also expressed his view on holding the Hazfi Cup in this way: In the end, given the congestion of fixtures and the Hazfi Cup being held later in the season, the league organization and the football federation know how great the pressure is. For us, who also have a shortage of players, conditions are a bit harder in a way, but nothing can be done about it; that is the schedule. About the Hazfi Cup too, I said we will take part with my young players and play.
