According to "Varzesh3", Barcelona today, with El Clásico against Real Madrid, face one of the most important matches of the season. In the hours leading up to the match, all eyes are fixed on events on the pitch as well as the two teams' possible strategies.
In the same vein, Jota Jordi, in his podcast called "Only for Barça Fans", revealed concerns which, according to him, some Barcelona players passed on to him — concerns that pay special attention to possible events surrounding Lamine Yamal.
Jordi, 40, explained that to gauge the players' mood before this match, he spoke with them once again. According to his information, there is a particular concern about the tactic José Mourinho might dictate to his players, especially regarding how to stop Lamine Yamal.
This El Chiringuito pundit refrained from directly using the word fear, but insisted that there is concern inside the team: "I do not like to say fear, because fear is not the right word, but there is a particular concern about José Mourinho's possible instructions to his players about how to contain Lamine."
Based on his account, one of the most worrying issues is what happens in the opening minutes of the match. Barcelona are particularly sensitive on this matter because of the possibility of numerous fouls on this young forward from the very first minutes.
Jordi stressed: "The first half-hour, that is, the first 10 to 20 minutes with Lamine Yamal is very worrying for us. They hit him from every side." He believes this is one of the main concerns of the Blaugrana players.
In addition to what might happen to Lamine Yamal, this pundit pointed to refereeing as another concern in the dressing room. According to him on this podcast, some of the footballers have expressed their concern about refereeing decisions during the match.
According to Jordi, one of the sentences he heard when asking the Barça players was this: "We have to see what awaits us with the refereeing matter." In the same vein, he stressed the importance of the team's footballing dominance to stay away from controversies, adding: "We have to be completely superior, because otherwise things will get complicated."
Finally, Jordi addressed a message to the refereeing team and asked them to pay special attention to fouls on Barcelona's young star. His request is that all players be protected without any discrimination, so that tonight's El Clásico is decided by football rather than being overshadowed by controversies.
