According to Varzesh3, the 38-year-old Foolad winger, moments ago, in the 88th minute of the sensitive match against Persepolis , turned Arshia Bagheri's cross into his team's winning goal with an unstoppable, first-time, spectacular strike.
Amiri is a player who in the summer was treated coldly by the Persepolis fans, and in both seasons, in the match against the team whose captain's armband he has worn, has produced an extraordinary and memorable display.

This is not the first goal of Vahid Amiri this season; two weeks ago, in the game against Malavan, he managed, with a shot from inside the penalty area, to turn his team from defeat into victory, and now it was Persepolis's turn to taste the sting of Amiri's marksmanship, precision and commitment.

This is also Vahid's second memorable goal against Persepolis. He had previously managed, in the (incidentally) yellow shirt of Naft Tehran, in a historic game, to score past Makani, Persepolis's error-prone goalkeeper, so that that season's championship slipped from Branko's team. Now Amiri's goal, this time in a smaller stadium on the outskirts of Tehran, has taken Foolad to 19 points, inflicted a second defeat on Persepolis, and put them in danger of losing top spot.

It is interesting to know that Amiri was training with Persepolis at the start of this season and was even supposed to go with the Reds to the Istanbul camp, but in the end, as always, the social-media atmosphere and the use of his age and last season's cruciate ligament injury as an excuse led Tartar, despite his initial opinion, to ultimately not give in to this choice...
But Vahid has always come back. This time at 38, and after a heavy injury that would sideline any player at home. Look again at his spectacular, artful goal and see his reaction after it. He holds not the slightest grudge against anyone and shows only his deep respect for his beloved team, while choked with emotion and close to tears.
