According to "Varzesh3", Moharram Navidkia, at a time when they had scored four goals against Mes Shahr-e Babak and sealed their superiority by the 59th minute, decided to make many changes in the middle of the second half, but afterwards they were unsuccessful in scoring, so that they could not score two more goals and go top of the table.
Navidkia said in this regard at the press conference after the match against Mes Shahr-e Babak: "To some extent I am dissatisfied with the performance of some of the players who were substituted. They are young, but they must know that they need to play within the framework of the team. They want to lift themselves up and reach the starting 11, but that is no reason for them to lose the ball so much or play too risky a game."
He continued: "I have higher expectations of some young players, especially Aria Shafi-Doust and Askari. I know they have returned after recovering from injury and their physical condition is not yet ideal, but they must be able to play more logically so the team does not suffer such fluctuations."
Sepahan's head coach said about resting some experienced players and substituting them: "We mostly tried to put the risk on players who are ultimately younger. In five days, we have an extremely important game in Khorramabad against Kheybar, and we tried to give Hadi Mohammadi, Ehsan Hajsafi and other players who have played many games during the season a little rest, given the conditions of this match."
Navidkia added: "If the gap between the current match and the next match were bigger, we could have not done this and used them more. However, we preferred to give a little rest to players who are older or have played more games during the season and had consecutive matches."
