According to "Varzesh 3", Motahari, speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of the match between Foolad and Persepolis about how to use young players, said: "I have explained before that to find these kids, I monitored youth team matches. In other teams I worked with, I also found players who were not very noticeable at the time, and today some of them have reached the national team."

The Foolad head coach then mentioned the name of Mohammad Omri and added: "An example is Mohammad Omri, whom many later took pride in having, but it is better to see how this player was discovered. I watched the U21 derby matches, found Omri, and brought him to the senior team. Later, many people talked about Omri, but that's fine. This is my coaching mission, and I am proud of doing it."

Motahari continued: "When these kids progress and reach higher levels, I enjoy their success. For me, one of the most important parts of coaching is being able to find a talented player and put them on the path to progress."

In response to the fact that Mohammad Omri has been receiving less attention for some time, he said: "Omri is a good footballer. Players have ups and downs during their professional careers, and this is natural. They need to take better care of themselves and their professional lives so they can regain good condition and serve their club and national team. In Iranian football, we have many talented youths, and my advice to all of them is to take care of themselves."

In another part of his remarks, the Foolad head coach addressed the term 'Foolad Time' and stressed that he used this phrase based on his team's late goals: "I spoke about Foolad Time before the match against Nassaji, and I believe in it. Some might take it as a joke, but I don't say things without reason. Look at last season's match against Malavan, and then the matches against Persepolis, Shams Azar, and Zob Ahan to see in which minutes we scored. This season, against Fajr Sepasi, we also scored in the closing moments."

Motahari concluded: "I ask those who mock this statement to first educate themselves. When I say Foolad Time, it is based on events created by my players. My team fights until the very last minute of the match, and this is respectable and enjoyable for me. I am proud of a team that doesn't stop trying until the final moment."
