According to ILNA, Mostafa Motadayyen, with the confirmation and signing of the decree by the Persian Gulf Holding, was appointed as the new CEO of Esteghlal Club. He, who had long been on the list of the main options for this position, received his decree after the completion of the necessary vetting process from the supervisory bodies.
The issuance of Motadayyen's decree had been postponed until the result of the vetting was determined, and this process finally came to an end today.
The new CEO of Esteghlal assumes responsibility for running this club while he had recently also become a member of the Blues' board of directors.
With this appointment becoming official, Ali Tajernia gives his place to Motadayyen, and Esteghlal, after about 400 days, once again has an official CEO.
