According to Varzesh3, Persepolis in their tenth match of the season in the Premier League, hosted Foolad this afternoon and lost by one goal to them. This was Persepolis's second defeat of the new season, and after losing to Tractor in week three they were beaten in this game as well. Unlike their other matches this season, Persepolis could not create many scoring chances against Foolad, and the game was played mostly in midfield.
But Persepolis's technical staff made several substitutions in the second half, and Mehdi Tartar, by adding attacking pieces, intended to increase the flow of his team's attacks. Midway through the second half, however, after a clash scene near Foolad's penalty area, controversial scenes broke out on the touchline. Persepolis's technical staff strongly protested this decision of Amir Arab-Baraqi, the match referee, and in the end the protests led to the sending-off of Mohsen Khalili, Persepolis's team manager, from the touchline.
In that scene, Mohsen Khalili very quickly got himself to the touchline and strongly protested the referee's performance. Amir Arab-Baraqi also quickly came to the touchline and punished him with a red card. Mohsen Khalili had no choice but to accept the decision and, muttering under his breath, left the Persepolis bench. In the end Persepolis lost this match, though of course they are still top of the Premier League .
