According to Mehr News Agency reporter, Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, referring to the government's plans to control inflation and support people's livelihood, said: Inflation is the result of macroeconomic variables and cannot be effectively controlled through short-term actions and manipulations.

Referring to the economic pressures caused by the actions of the US and the Zionist regime against Iran, she added: The government's effort is to control the inflation rate on the one hand, and take measures to improve the livelihood of the people on the other hand.

Mohajerani cited the increase in the amount of electronic food stamps (Kala Barg) for needy deciles as one of these measures and stated: Considering the self-declaration process that is underway, we hope that individuals who consider themselves in need of support and announce this matter will also be included in the increased amount of the food stamp.
