According to "Varzesh 3", the matches for the final three weight categories of the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships began this morning in Kazakhstan, and Mohammad Mehdi Keshtkar has taken to the mat in the 63 kg weight class.
After Esmaeili and Mehdi achieved fast and extraordinary victories in their initial bouts, Keshtkar continued the same momentum.
Following a bye in the first round, Mohammad Mehdi Keshtkar defeated Ujala of Finland 9-0 in the next stage. After receiving a warning from the referees for his opponent, he quickly brought the match to an end with two spectacular saltos and gut wrenches.
In the next round, he will face the winner between Kamal from Kazakhstan and Nazaryan from Bulgaria. Meanwhile, Karen Aslanyan, the world bronze medalist from Armenia, is also placed in Keshtkar's group.
