Iranian Representative to Speak at 'Islamic Studies and Artificial Intelligence' Conference in Indonesia

According to ILNA, citing the public relations department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, this international conference will be held on October 31 and November 1, 2026, corresponding to Aban 9 and 10, 1405 (Iranian calendar), with the participation of professors and researchers from various countries in the city of Padangsidimpuan, located in North Sumatra province, Indonesia.

Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary State Islamic University (UIN Syahada) is one of Indonesia's state Islamic higher education institutions, with its founding history dating back to 1962. Following several stages of development and structural upgrades of its educational system, this academic center was elevated to a state Islamic university in 2022 and currently operates in the fields of Islamic studies, humanities, education, Islamic economics, and other academic disciplines.

The main theme of this conference has been announced as "Advancing Human Knowledge and Civilization in the Era of Artificial Intelligence; Integrating Islamic Values, Inclusive Innovation, and Sustainable Futures."

Among the most important specialized themes of the conference are Islamic studies and civilization in the era of artificial intelligence, Islamic education and human values, Islamic economics and finance, family law and social transformations, digital communications and media, and the role of artificial intelligence in the future of education.

At this academic event, in addition to Yahya Jahangiri from the Islamic Republic of Iran, professors from INCEIF University in Malaysia, Kabul University in Afghanistan, and Federal University Kashere in Nigeria will also participate as keynote speakers.

The participation of the Cultural Counsellor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this conference will provide an opportunity to introduce Iran's scientific and intellectual capacities in the fields of Islamic studies, philosophy, theology, and emerging technological issues, as well as to expand scientific and academic cooperation between Iran and Indonesia.
