According to Varzesh3, Hamed Lak uses every opportunity to settle his long-running rivalry with Ali Beiranvand in his own favour.

After the Persepolis match against Foolad , in which this experienced goalkeeper put in a notable display, he fired a shot at Tractor's national-team goalkeeper in a brief conversation with reporters in the mixed zone, sarcastically referring to his injury and calling Beiranvand 's conduct in Tractor's match against Naft Abadan a staged, fake injury.

The 35-year-old Lak, who has come away unbeaten from his third consecutive meeting with Persepolis in Tehran and is celebrating his second win in his third season against his former team, said in response to a reporter who asked him about getting up quickly after his injury:"Greetings to you; well, I was in a bit of pain and I wanted to run the clock down! Of course not, I wasn't injured — I'm joking. Since I had done my military service and didn't need any medical leave either, that's why I didn't fake an injury for no reason!"

Lak left the mixed zone after these words and did not let reporters ask more questions — although this remark alone will be controversial enough.

This experienced goalkeeper is in contact with Beiranvand , but, as they say, he does not rate him all that highly, and there has always been a cold war between him and Beiro .
