According to "Varzesh3", Ehsan Hajsafi, the experienced captain and national player of Sepahan, had an effective role in this team's high-scoring victory against Mes Shahr-e Babak and with his goal assist paved the way for the Golden-clad side's first goal. Hajsafi, in the 12th minute, with a precise pass placed Mehdi Limouchi in a goal-scoring position so that Sepahan would get ahead of the rival very early and then, by presenting a superior display, finish this match with a 4-0 result.

Sepahan's captain appeared among the reporters after the end of the match and spoke about his team's victory, the close competition at the top of the table, the refereeing scenes of the recent matches, and the conditions of women's presence in the stadium. While expressing satisfaction with obtaining three important points, he had criticism of the refereeing decisions in Sepahan's previous match against Shams Azar and believed that if this team's penalty had been given, the Golden-clad side would now be at the top of the table.

Hajsafi said about Sepahan's four-goal victory against Mes Shahr-e Babak: «Thank God we obtained a sweet victory. We started well from the beginning of the game and were able to get a dismissal too. The situations we had were converted into goals and, thank God, we were able to obtain three very important points. We needed these three points so that we could keep ourselves at the top of the table. I congratulate all the fans who came and did their utmost. It is true that it was the middle of the week and we expected a greater number to come to the stadium, but still, well done to them. God willing, in the upcoming matches they will come too and support the team. The presence of the fans creates motivation for the young players and I hope that in the future competitions we will see a greater number of them in the stadium.»

Sepahan's captain also said about his readiness and his effectiveness during the match: «Yes, thank God. I did not do a special work; these are the efforts of all the team's boys and I was also able to do a good move.»

Hajsafi, in continuation, pointing to the close competition of the teams at the top of the table, complained about the refereeing events of the recent two weeks and said: «Now the conditions have become very hard and the competition at the top of the table is attractive, the points are close to each other. We have a complaint from last week and in these two weeks; both the dismissal of Aria Yousefi and the penalty that they did not take for us in the match against Shams Azar. Truly the VAR room is strange for us, why did they not take that scene as a penalty? I think all the experts said it has been one hundred percent a penalty. I was beside the central referee and he constantly said who has hit the ball first. If you look at the scene, our player has hit the ball and the opponent's player intended to repel it. I do not know why that penalty was not announced. More strange, exactly that same scene was taken as a penalty for another team the next day, but not for us! If we had taken those three points of the previous match, now we would have been at the top of the table. We hope that in the upcoming matches the referees will referee with more precision.»

Sepahan's captain, in another part of his remarks, addressed the subject of women's stands in the stadium and asked the officials of the province and the Security Council to make the necessary arrangements for the provision of better conditions for women's presence in the matches.

He said about this: «Again I request from the officials of the province and the Security Council, who have this situation in charge, please, by God nothing will happen if our dear ladies come and sit in the lower floor. Of course, in the first days of the week many are at work and cannot come to the stadium, but the ladies who take the trouble and bring themselves to the stadium, it is better that they sit in the lower floor. By God, we see the game from below and nothing is clear, let alone that they want to watch the ground from above. If they are below, they see better and enjoy more. I hope that for the upcoming matches the necessary coordination will be done so that the ladies can be present in the lower floor. I also ask our own club to pursue this subject.»

Hajsafi, in the end, in response to a question about the calmness of Moharram Navidkia and why Sepahan's head coach does not show much reaction even after his team's scoring, said with laughter: «Honestly I do not know; Mr. Moharram is very calm. Even in his playing period he was like this. I think it is for this reason that beside the pitch he is this calm and wants his team to play with calmness.»
