According to Irib News Agency, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring in his pre-agenda speech at today's open session of Parliament to yesterday's meeting with the heads of provincial parliamentary caucuses and their request for explanations regarding the meeting with the Supreme Leader, said: I will use this few-minute opportunity to briefly mention this topic both for our friends on social networks and here.

In response to questions raised about the health of the Supreme Leader, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: His Eminence is in complete health. Truly, what I observed during the meeting—which was notable even for me who had a close acquaintance with him—was, first, a strong, lively, and hopeful spirit, and second, his firmness and tranquility of heart. When one sat in his presence and spoke with him, these characteristics were completely tangible in His Eminence. In discussions as well, he truly had full command over the issues, both in generalities and in details, which of course I was aware of prior to this as well.

Referring to the sensitive conditions of the country and the tragedy resulting from the martyrdom of the martyred Imam, Ghalibaf said: The bitter reality is that under conditions where our martyred leader, our martyred Imam, was martyred, this crime brought immense grief upon us all and was a huge blow. In any case, he too has lost both his leader and his father; the tragedy of losing his close ones and family is also very heavy.

He added: Despite these sensitive conditions, he truly possessed a very good spirit, even at a time when, without a doubt, the words of our great Imam that 'all of Islam stands against all of disbelief' have found objective manifestation today, and Islam stands against all disbelief. I felt with all my being that this firmness and peace of heart stems from a strong faith in Almighty God and his deep belief in the people.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly continued: Discussions were also raised in the meeting regarding related issues, and his precision in following up on details was completely evident. On various subjects, he provided and communicated the necessary guidance. What was very impactful for me in these exchanges of discussions was that he possessed a forward-looking vision and horizon, and very hopefully and positively emphasized forward-moving issues so that we can move along this path.

Referring to some topics raised in the media regarding the content of this meeting, he stated: One of the topics discussed was economic issues. One of the points to which he paid meticulous attention, and the importance of which my economic colleagues are also familiar with, was macroeconomic indicators, which he followed carefully, paying attention to ensure there was no overestimation or underestimation in this regard.

The Speaker continued: Another important issue was securing production chains. This was the third time he seriously followed up on this issue with me. Since the Ramadan War, this was the third time he emphasized and pursued this matter, whether in the field of raw materials, the production cycle, or regarding the supply of basic commodities, which is of great importance. Also, the issue of preserving the purchasing power of the people and securing livelihoods, especially the livelihoods of the armed forces and fighters present in the field, whom undoubtedly the entire nation knows should be our priority.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly added: He also had points regarding the Seventh Plan, which had also been raised in his message to Parliament during the third session, particularly in the area of reconstruction, where measures are being taken in this regard.

He continued: A portion of the discussions was also devoted to military matters and issues of war and the Resistance Front, which was among the notable topics. Another portion was raised in the field of diplomacy and the issue of negotiations. Furthermore, the Leader of the Revolution stated important points regarding the economic war, particularly economic expulsion and maritime blockade.

Referring to the Supreme Leader's emphasis on serving the people, Ghalibaf said: He emphasized serving the people, especially in the field of resilience, as well as maximum unity among officials, adopting firm and unified positions on various issues, particularly among officials and all the more so at the level of the heads of branches, which fortunately this coordination exists.

The head of our country's legislative branch, referring further to other axes of this meeting, stated: One of the points emphasized by him was the latest status of our relations and discussions with our strategic partners, especially China, which are among the issues he regularly follows up on, and in this regard he provided and issued directives so that this issue is pursued. He emphasized cooperation between the government and parliament, and God willing, all of us must pay attention to this matter as well.

Ghalibaf stated: If I were to express all these issues in a single word, as I have said many times, this is in fact the words of our great Imam, the words of our martyred Imam, and the emphasis of our present Imam that the secret to victory, success, and overcoming these tensions and challenges is our unity in word and action. Let us both speak and act, and not fall under the holy verse 'Why do you say what you do not do?' Let us stand firm and move forward on this path, and in obeying his commands as our Guardian and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces during these days when we are at war, let us not hesitate for a moment and move forward, and let it always be in our ears and being that our great Imam said: Support the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist (Velayat-e Faqih) so that no harm comes to your country. God willing, let us move and advance on this path.
