According to “Varzesh3”, in the second week of the Polish Volleyball Premier League, known as the Tauron Liga, the Chełm team, which had Amir Hossein Esfandiar, the Iranian volleyball power receiver, in its lineup, lost at home 3-0 to the powerful Asseco Resovia team.
Asseco Resovia did not allow Esfandiar and his teammates to show themselves in this match and finished the sets of the game in order with the results 25-19, 25-17 and 25-13 in their favor, to inflict Chełm's second defeat.
Amir Hossein Esfandiar too, unlike the first match of the season, could not have a brilliant performance and scored only eight points for his team.
Chełm's Iranian power receiver obtained five points from attack, two points from serve and one point from blocking.
