According to "Varzesh 3", Atletico Madrid faced Deportivo Alaves at the Metropolitano Stadium on Saturday night within the framework of the tenth week matches of La Liga and managed to win against this team by a single goal, keeping three valuable points of this game at home. This goal was scored by Alvarez and was accompanied by his apology to Atletico fans.

Simeone spoke with reporters after the match and immediately following Julian Alvarez's apology.

Julian's apology was more important than the victory: "It was a tough and difficult game, it took us a while to get back into rhythm and we didn't play the way we imagined. We didn't feel comfortable. We made changes and these changes gave us more energy. We created scoring chances, we had three chances and got back into the game, but by taking a 1-0 lead we couldn't completely finish the job. That's why Sorloth came on.

But not scoring goals caused us to feel the fear that these results always bring. Deportivo could have tied the game. I hold great value for people who apologize, because it's not easy. Julian is a humble and hardworking boy who cares about his teammates, and I appreciate his apology because it puts him in his rightful place."

A necessary gesture: "I am not here to judge whether it was the right thing to do or wrong. Life goes on and I appreciate this happening. That's it."

Fans at the Metropolitano Stadium chanted Julian's name: "He played a fantastic game, the fans celebrated his goal just like they celebrate the team's goal, and Julian shone, just like in our other Champions League game. We need Julian with this playing form."

Reconciliation with the locker room was also achieved: "We are handling this matter with great peace of mind because he is a lovely boy who has always treated us well, respected everyone, and always delivered his best performance on the pitch. He is returning to the position he had last season."

One assist and two goals in three games: "I am very happy with today's result and thank God that Julian performed just like the Stuttgart game to bring us the three points today."
