According to Mazandaran IRIB News Agency, news was published on some social media pages regarding the destruction of the body of a girl at Razi Hospital in Qaemshahr due to a problem in the morgue or not being placed in a below-zero morgue, which the director of this hospital, while denying this news, said: This young woman had been transferred to Razi Hospital in Qaemshahr on Friday due to poisoning.
Dr. Zabihi, denying a breakdown of this hospital's morgue system, said: If the morgue for keeping bodies at this hospital had a problem, all the bodies present in the morgue would have had to suffer cadaveric decomposition, which is not the case.
He added: Bodies that need forensic examinations must not be kept frozen in a below-zero morgue, because the body's tissue changes.
Dr. Zabihi, regarding the blood-stained fluids observed around the deceased's body, explained: According to the specialized opinion of the medical team, the discharge of these fluids and the unpleasant odor arising from them was related to the poisoning and the subsequent decomposition of internal organs and had no connection to the performance of the hospital's morgue.
Dr. Zabihi, stating that contrary to the claim raised, the body of this girl was delivered to forensic medicine, asked media and social media users to reflect on the accuracy and consequences of content before publishing and republishing it.
