Cybersecurity Olympics to Be Held with the Aim of Discovering Young Talents

According to Mehr, citing the National Cyberspace Center, the third edition of the Technology Olympics in the cybersecurity discipline will be held from November 2 to 5 at the Pardis Technology Park in Tehran.

This event will be held under the direction of the Cybersecurity Operations Command Center with the aim of identifying and empowering top talents, strengthening cyber resilience and creating practical experience for specialists.

The head of the Cybersecurity Operations Command Center of the National Cyberspace Center considered this event a platform for networking and strengthening ties among the responsible bodies, industry, universities and the cybersecurity specialist community.

According to him, the competitive part of this event includes Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions and Bug Bounty. In CTF, participants compete in a safe and challenging environment to find digital flags and earn the most points, and in Bug Bounty, discovering bugs and security vulnerabilities is the axis of competition.

Assessing the security of industrial networks, holding a specialized exhibition of the cybersecurity industry, developing international cooperation and holding a scientific and specialized conference are among the other programs of this edition.

Based on this report, specialists, elites, researchers, cybersecurity activists, academics and managers will attend this event, and in this event, the capabilities of companies active in the cybersecurity field will be introduced.

The Passive Defense Organization, the AFTA Center, the FATA Police and the MAHER Center are participating in this event.
