According to "Varzesh3", Javad Nekounam, head coach of Tractor, attended the press conference before the match against Al Ain, and an important part of his remarks was devoted to digs at Iran not hosting matches of the AFC Champions League Elite, even though Saudi Arabia hosts these competitions despite the risks that exist in that country. However, the Tractor head coach believes their Emirati opponents also possess high quality.

Nekounam said at the beginning of his remarks: Tomorrow we play against a quality team and we have sufficient knowledge of this team. I hope that with high concentration we play a good game and reach success.

He then pointed to the hosting conditions of a country like Saudi Arabia and said: The point that needs to be mentioned is that there are now countries that have more insecure conditions than our country, yet the matches are held on their soil. At present, good conditions prevail in our country and calm reigns. Perhaps there are one or two countries that do not have a suitable situation. They took the right of hosting away from our team and our spectators. I hope the Asian Football Confederation has a special look at this subject and reconsiders its decision so that we can host the upcoming matches in our country.

The Tractor head coach, regarding his history of presence in UAE football, said: After all, I used to play here at one time. The UAE league is now different from the league of that time, and many quality foreign players are present in this league. These players have raised the technical quality of the league very much. The UAE league is one of the best leagues in Asia, in which good planning and investment have been made. Our whole focus is on the Al Ain team so that we reach success. We pay attention to Al Ain's style of play, type of play and team movements so that I convey the necessary information to the players and they carry out the technical staff's orders on the pitch. Certainly we have a good knowledge of UAE football. Tomorrow, the team that plays better will reach success.

Nekounam finally, about the situation of Tractor's players for this match, said: I have no absent player for tomorrow's match.
